• As murderer "Jesse Bixel," one of the criminal guinea pigs shanghaied aboard mad doctor Irving Pichel's floating laboratory in the entertaining Poverty Row potboiler Torture Ship (1939) directed by Victor (White Zombie) Halperin.
  
  
• As "Finn, the Mute," whose thoughts provide a sinister voiceover monologue underscoring the suspenseful seafaring thriller The Ghost Ship (1943), produced by Val Lewton and directed by Mark Robson.
  
  
• In an uncredited bit part as "Man with Cart," moving the plot along in the psychological Ripper thriller The Lodger (1944), starring Laird Cregar.
  
  
• In an uncredited bit as cabman "Al Perry" in The Invisible Man's Revenge (1944), starring Jon Hall.
  
  
• In a small part as "Lou Shudley" in None But the Lonely Heart (1944), supporting an excellent performance by Cary Grant.
  
  
• In an uncredited bit part as a waiter in The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945), starring Hurd Hatfield and George Sanders.

• In an uncredited supporting role as "Varney," Anna Lee's manservant in Bedlam (1946), produced by Val Lewton and directed by Mark Robson.
  
  
• As "Rudolph," a minor villain giving the hero trouble in a stolen diamonds case in Dick Tracy vs. Cueball (1946). Good cast including Morgan Conway (Tracy), Anne Jeffreys, Ian Keith, Dick Wessel (Cueball), Byron Foulger and Milton Parsons.
  
  
• As "X-ray," slyly mocking Boris Karloff's "gruesome" mug (he should talk!) in Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome (1946). Fine cast including Karloff, Ralph Byrd (Tracy), Anne Gwynne and Milton Parsons.
  
  
• As "Hugo," mad doctor Alan Napier's lab assistant in one of the best of the "Bowery Boys" films, Master Minds (1949). Great cast includes Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, Gabriel Dell, Alan Napier, Jane Adams, Billy Benedict, Bernard Gorcey, Minerva Urecal — and a standout comedy/horror performance by Glenn Strange as the hairy monster "Atlas."
  
  
• As "Retner," a minor villain in the goofy Columbia sci-fi serial, Captain Video, Master of the Stratosphere (1951).
  
  
• As "Gilly," just one of the colorful characters heaving to and fro with Robert Newton's seagoing scalawag in Blackbeard, the Pirate (1952). Wonderful supporting cast includes Linda Darnell, William Bendix, Torin Thatcher, Irene (Granny Clampett!) Ryan, Alan Mowbray, Anthony Caruso and Jack Lambert. Arrrrrr!
  
  
• Joining the fun in a small part as "Little Man," still highly visible in an unbelievable cast of familiar horror genre faces in the Bob Hope farce Casanova's Big Night (1954) — Basil Rathbone, Hugh Marlowe, John Carradine, John Hoyt, Lon Chaney Jr., Frieda Inescort, Primo Carnera, Paul Cavanagh, Henry Brandon, Douglas Fowley, Nestor Paiva...and Vincent Price as Casanova!
