• As "Frank Hobart," the dive manager (billed as Charles Locher), in the serial The Amazing Exploits of the Clutching Hand (1936), with Jack Mulhall (as detective Craig Kennedy), Rex Lease, Mae Busch, Ruth Mix, William Farnum, Robert Frazer, Bryant Washburn, Franklyn Farnum, Henry Hall and Yakima Canutt.
  
  
• As the Tarzan-like jungle man "El Lion" (billed as Charles Loucher), showing off his physique in The Lion Man (1936), co-starring, appropriately, Kathleen Burke ("Lota the Panther Woman" from Island of Lost Souls). Based on a story by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
