Fantasy Model Kit Box Cover Designs

David Vaughn's Digital Masterpiece company produces hand-made reproductions of original Aurora model kit boxes, and a growing line of "fantasy" boxes for models that should have been made. When Dave held a fantasy box art contest to drum up new ideas, I submitted a design for a 60s Aurora kit of the great TV horror host Zacherley and won second prize. Dave rushed production of the box so it could debut at Wonderfest 2007, where John Zacherle was a guest. It went over very well with Zach's fans and the Cool Ghoul himself, as you can see on a page linked below.

Dave and I are collaborating on other fantasy boxes, starting with the two other horror host tributes below, "Chilly Billy" and Elvira. We're currently negotiating to produce these boxes for these hosts. Click box image or host's name for a larger view and more information.
